ACTION ALERT: Contact Your Senator Urging Opposition to SB 9!

Contact Your State Senator Today to Urge Them to Vote Against the Anti-Women’s Sports Bill!

The Pennsylvania State Senate is expected to vote on Senate Bill 9 the week of May 5th. Click on your Senator’s name below and you can send them an email directly!

It’s vital that we ensure constituents express their opposition ASAP!

While this bill passed the Senate in the 2021-2022 session — it was vetoed by Governor Wolf. In the 2023-2024 session it was not even introduced in the State Senate. In this new session, the bill is being fast tracked. There is no expectation SB 9 will be considered in the House of Represenatives and Governor Shapiro has said before he would veto such a bill. Ensuring our Senators understand loud and clear their voters oppose anti-trans hatred is vital to pushing back against efforts to dehumanize trans and queer Pennsylvanians. Addressing this type of action at its outset lets our legislators know these efforts will not be tolerated.

Please only write to your State Senator. Senate staff ignore communications from those who don’t live in their districts and it makes them less likely to read emails from those who actually live in the district. You can only send ONE email. You only have ONE senator.
